I know the BBC's been getting a bit of flak from British residents for providing great services to the worldwide community at the expense of the UK rate payer. They have to pay annual fees for their television service.

The issue came up recently on the BBC news website, they are toying with the idea of adding advertising to the site for additional revenue - but only for people outside the isles. I think in an online poll, British residents overwhelmingly supported the idea.

Do what i do when it comes to offers like this that are country specific. Set up a proxy spoofing your IP as the one in question..........voila. It only takes a minute to do (if you have avant browser, and more than likely others can do it too, you don't even have to change your proxy in the main internet settings. just set it up when you open avant/other browser, it connects using said proxy.)

We need to set up some kind of barter system: "I'll apologise for the Spice girls if a Canadian apologises for Celine Dion" or "I'll apologise for Robbie Williams if an American apologises for Vanilla Ice*"!

*Obviously, I've been waiting quite a long time for this apology. Those pesky Americans seem to think if they ignore it long enough they might get away with it... Well it won't work! Apologise, Dammit!
