Upgrading JP-8000 / loading MIDI files

I came across a problem today and since I am new to MIDI, PATCHES and etc I have a problem.

First of all I need to upgrade my FIRMWARE for JP-8000, I got 1.2 loaded and I downloaded and need to upgrade to version 1.5. I got the .mid files (8 of them but cannot load them). No idea how.

I have also purchased sounds I need and I cannot load them either.

What software do I use and how exactly do I load them.

I got firewire 410 and midi cables. Cubase, Win Jp Librarian...what DO I DO?

First of all you should read the readme-file that came with the update-midi-files carefully!

To "send" these midi files to the JP-8000 you can use a program like midi-ox. It can be downloaded at

www.midiox.com

and it is free!!!
