btw, please PM me if you have the Noisevault impulses backed up anywhere. I tried to find them via Wayback Machine, but it seems that the site (and specifically the files) were not fully captured back then (I don't think Wayback Machine captured the entire site back in 2007 when Noisevault was active).

We have received feedback about how useful it would be if the library was available for download as packs and we agree. So, therefore we have made two packs available.

Pack one - Contains 350+ Impulses and can be found in your profile after you have logged in.

Pack two - Contains 1185 impulses and can be found in your profile after you have uploaded an Impulse of your own to the library.

We recently made an update, that allows you to see more information about the stand-alone Impulse responses and we also threw in a little waveform.

For example, this Impulse response from an Mesa oversized 4x12

Each impulse now shows a waveform and (if available)

The cabinet

Brand
Model
Year

And also

Microphone used
Microphone position
Microphone distance

what about Alesis Microverb? this gadget was quite a beast. very unique algorithms with great variety.
(not sure it that was all linear and convolutionable...)

Just thought I'd share some cab impulses that I've edited for my needs.

The original versions of the impulses are from this site -> https://luanalbani.wixsite.com/devilslab/devilsroar

When I tried out the "Cagnazzo" and "Jurupari" IR packs, I noticed that they had a weird echo effect on them. As if played through a delay pedal. Maybe this was intentional on the creator's part (or not) but I wasn't fond of it either way.

So I've edited the impulses by cutting off their echo points and personally, I'm pretty satisfied with the results.

Releasing now is the Dr Bonkers Bass Cab Classics™ Volume 19: SULA 4X12 Guitar Cab IR Collection based upon a 1968 Sunn® Sceptre™ 200w 4X12 Guitar Amp Cab. This cabinet included 4 Sunn® Guitar Transducer™ badged Jensen® C12N™ 12 inch 50 watt speakers featuring 29 oz ceramic magnets (Code # C8579 3 220842) manufactured in the 42nd week of 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Available in Fractal Audio file and various WAV file formats.

This type of cab/speaker combination was the choice at one time of Leslie West, The Ventures, & Bob Weir.
