Subsonar breaks with Sonar 5 (on soft synths)?

Hello, I have migrated to Sonar 5 (PE) and sadly noted that subsonar (v1.51) still works on Sonar 5, but only for VST FX - not for VSTi Soft Synths.

Maybe something has changed on Sonar, but I noted that settings configured in the subsonar dat file are completely ignored in Sonar.
The sequence is :
- Run cakewalk adapter
- Launch Sonar to generate menus
- Quit Sonar
- Launch Subsonar
- Run Sonar
At the end of this sequence, I get what I want in the Audio FX menu choice, but Soft synths are instead just as the cake adapter configured them.
Setting the name from Cakewalk plugin manager works instead, but we know that it's a real pain to use - and, if I remember well, when the Cake adapter does another run all Plugin Manager settings are reset.

In Sonar 4 everything seemed to work well; by looking in the registry, I suspect that now the plugins "Friendly Name" has to be set in more places that before for Sonar to handle them correctly, at least for soft synths.

Anybody else experimenting the same problem?
Bye
Mabian

<Edit>

If anyone is having problems with SUBSonar in conjunction with Sonar5, can they please let me know here. (*)

Alternately, if it is working for you, can you confirm that?

If you can give me a brief description of the problem, as well as OS version, SUBSonar version, and any other info on other CW hosts you might have installed (Sonar4, P5 et.c.) I'd appreciate it.

(*) When the S5 wrapper runs itself automatically, it is possible it is resetting some information. You should be able to set your menus back again by running SUBSonar again. If you are having problems, please be sure that you have rerun SUBSonar at least twice with Sonar5 no longer running, which will ensure than SUBSonar has definitely had a chance to 'do its thing'. Thanks.

LOL whining on a free tool, had a bad day mabian?
Black text on a white canvas, do racist people close their eyes when they read a book?

<edit> Thats not really fair. If there's a problem, I do want to know, and corroboration is very useful.

mabian has emailed me and found what appears to be a solution to the problem. If anyone else is having problems (anyone out there?) please try this
The problem was very simple: I had the "Scan VST Plugins on startup" option checked,
so that each time Sonar was started something was reset by its plugin handler,
actually nulling the settings of subsonar.
If you're having problems, please try this before reporting any problems....
