I'm looking for a large collection of dry hip hop sounding drums. I don't like the sound of live drums at all, I want something really dry and crunchy. I bought a Lab Drumz sample pack a while back and I really do like it. Can anyone suggest other sample packs that fit my tastes? It can be free or not.

hm, best idea would be to make a cd with your favorit samples, and then hang it outside with some clothes pins...wait a few days, and then the samples will be all dried out!

Or alternatively, you can dry the drums beforehand and then record them.

It has individual hits as well as loops (Fruity Loops format) in various styles, including hip-hop.

You could just try sampling them yourself, as they all originate on vinyl. Just find a breaks pack, and knock yourself out with thousands of lovely vinyl hits
