Dan McCullough's been at it again and has sent me a lovely, pure sample from his own crystal singing bowl to share with the sampling community (which in itself is quite Buddhist thing to do given that the bowls are also used for sharing food with friends and guests :) ).

Available in S5/6k and Kontakt format:

Enjoy.

Kontakt 1.x or 2 ?

I have Kompakt that can play Kontakt 1.x files, but probably not 2.x.

Kontakt 1.

If there is sufficient interest, I can do Kompakt as well (though it's hardly rocket science to import Kontakt into Kompakt and make a few tweaks).

Exactly. I can handle that :) but if it's K2, I'd be SOL and so use the Akai samples instead.

I'd just say from the singing bowl demo :
HO(llo)W can you do that with 225kb ??? In Middle Age, one could have been burnt for this as a sorcerer !

This being said, I should not be that surprised, since I own your cp70 library for Kontakt, which makes wonders, albeit not being so big in size.
keep up the good work.
I also have Nostalgia, that you developed for zero-g, and am still into discovering with greatest pleasure the huge banks of presets...

And while I am at it, would you mind to post a list of presets which go into the M1 lib ?
I considered this disc and would like to know a little more !

Thanks in advance.

Ok...for any future ones, though, I might just do Kompakt - would only take a few minutes.

Ha! :-)

Arthur C. Clarke once said "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"... maybe it's that ;)

S'good sampling practices, that's all!
