ERROR! Couldn't read the WusikPRST file
Got this in a popup a couple times while running through the ManyStation presets with Wusik v2.1.4.
Check out the 'SynthStation' group, patch called 'Led-ShineWah' and tell me if you get the same error.
If this is true for everyone, is there a fix? Can it be that the BNK converter failed for a couple presets?

Hi
First we have not released converted presets yet for Ver2 engine ... We will when we release our Ver2 engine update. We found this though during our tests here too.
The error you get comes from a space at the end of the preset filename. Just go into the folder where that preset is and take the space off the end of the filename and it should be fine then.
Let me know if that is it.
We will release ManyStation with the Ver2 engine with all presets already converted for users so once we release all should be fine..
But if you see any more errors like this let me know
I think i found 2 already.
Thanks
Paul

Thanks for the info Paul.
I happened to be re-installing Windows when the V2 big package came out, so I just did a clean install of just WSV2 and converted your stuff. 99.97% perfect!

Paul
do you remember the other one you found. i fixed the one mentioned in the original post and another in my own presets, but could not find any others in the Manystation presets. I'd like to fix it, if possible.
also, will the V2 upgrade be free to registered owners?
thanks.

It seems it was in the same folder too ..(the SynthStation folder) Just load them and see if any fail to load.
I could have just done one but i can't remember as i am old and have a short attention span. (according to the wife)
Paul
hmmm, i thought i checked them all. but i'll double-check since the original post indicated a "couple" also...

When we release the Version 2 Engine it will be a free upgrade for all our current ManyStation users. But remember ... ManyStation will be still staying at Version 1 as we are still fairly new, but we will have the Version 2 Wusik Engine, so really it is a Version 2 sort of
Anyways ... will be very soon now.

HI
Any news on when Manystation goes V2 - as in using the WS V2 engine?
I am confused (What's new) by your saying Manystation will be at V1 even though you will soon be offering it up with the WS V2 engine.
Flipper.

Well for us... It seems ManyStation going to version 2 itself should involve a much bigger package, including new content as well as the VSTi Ver2 engine and perhaps a Price upgrade to cover the new content etc...
But ManyStation is still only about 9 months old so we are not ready yet to go full Ver2.
Yet we still wish to get our existing customers into the latest Ver 2 engine as it seems to be a bit more user friendly.
I hope to get this sorted within a couple weeks or even before that if things go smoothly. Again it will be a free update for all existing ManyStation customers up to the time we announce it.
Stay tuned .. I am heavily on this but i got a big Plate at the moment to clear first.
