has anyone tried Algorithmix plugins?
LinearPhase PEQ red & orange are the best EQ ever.

but,they are a little bit pricey

Magix cleaning lab 10 has a spectral cleaning plug that is the same concept as renovator and it does an excellent job of getting little accidents out of excellent takes. It cost a whole helluva lot less too. The eq's are suppossedlt some of the most transparent if that's what you are going for.

Yes, I've tried em all and they are quite impressive but those EQs are NOT the only ones capable of such results. Right now there is a serious contender IMHO and as it happens, it is free (albeit very buggy still).

And I still think that the Weiss EQ sounded better than the algorithmix one but it's maybe not a fair comparison. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't that blown away by the algorithmix EQs. They are good, even very good but not the dogs bollocks.

Be sure to try the PLPara 1 and 4 (though some bugs and/or compatibility problems are being worked out currently).

As far as quality, these are very high quality linear phase EQ's.

Hi dc12,

you should then look at the PLParEQs. You will probably love the sound of those freebies. Really buggie but the dev is working on making it stable at the moment.

Yes,

we two EQfreaks and the three audiophile finns ...

There also were some other guys after the "hoax storm" calmed down.
