What gives with this? Very little information anywhere. Squids, can you tell us the details?

How many velocity layers?
How many samples?
Unlooped or looped?
Are softest layers real or only hard velocities reduced in volume?

What gives? M-Audio is supposed to represent the product fully. However, I can tell you since we made it that it is 3 velocity layers, looped and it is not chromatic (but quite a few across the keyboard, not long intervals of transposition). It was tweaked to sound great. Offered in both 16 and 24 bit. Sizes range from 100-200 megs. Great price.

Is this the same sample set that's in the M-Audio piano?

Yeah, we did the piano for their 88 key stage piano keyboard. Although it was tweaked by one of their people and it is smaller in size. Still, one of the larger sized pianos on a rom.
