I'm so glad to have finally registered for this great forum.
I've been a user of the ultrafunk plugins since version 2 and currently use version R3C. The question I have is regarding Cakewalk's aquisition of the company. When I installed Sonar PE4 about a year ago, I noticed that all my settings from within all my projects, be it Vegas/Acid, for the dx parameters of the plugins got set back to their default state (when you initially add the plugin to the chain).
While this can be fixed by either reinstalling the original R3C package, or by exporting->importing presets, I would like to know if there is any benefit to using the "updated" bundled Sonar 4PE Sonitus:fx package over the originaly independant R3C package.
I haven't noticed any difference but if anybody could shed some light on the matter, I would really appreciate it.
