How does your host handle tempo?

When you speed up or slow down the tempo does the cursor continue to move at the same speed and the midi in the clips resize itself, or does the midi stay the same and the cursor move faster or slower?

I ask this mostly as to how automation is handled.

Does the automation resize with the midi (if the midi in fact re-sizes). Or does the cursor just move at a different speed allowing the midi and automation to go unchanged?

My host (which shall go unnamed) is driving me crazy in this reguard and I am looking for alternatives.

FL has the midi/automation unchanged; the cursor moves at variable rates. However, with audio clips, I'm not sure it would handle tempo changes. I know it doesn't timestretch them in realtime.

No, I wouldn't expext a host to deal with audio clips and tempo changes.

I'm just talking about midi and automation of midi tracks.

Orion keeps midi unchanged, Audio is resized (not stretched).
