A question, as I am a bit confused
- can the loop files used by LiveSlice be located anywhere?
- or do they have to be in the initial folder or the alternative folder or the next level of folders in either of those.
- I infer from the manual that the loops can be anywhere, but if there are not at their stated location then LiveSlice will search the two special folders and the next level down to try to find them
HAve I got this right?

You are absolutely right. Files can be anywhere, but only the "special folders" are searched.
