Hi

I'm enjoying the MS right now.

Q: When I add UBK, do you think there are enough different basses in MG to make me want it?

I don't care much about guitars (i can record a real one, either myself or some great guitarists that I know), basses are a different story though :D

What do you say?

thanks

Hi soulata

Glad you are enjoying.

ManyGuitar has 12 Bass Soundsets included, 3 are New Bass Soundsets, that you would not have if you had ManyStation and UBK.

The Biggest new sets in ManyGuitar are the Huge Telecaster sets and a few new Lead Guitar styles.
(Total New Content is 645 Meg Plus the 638 from ManyStations Guitar and Bass Collection) (Hence the crossgrade pricing :-) )

But also you would get the Amp sim built into ManyGuitar and an all in one solution, as you can then Load UBK into ManyGuitar and use the included FX ... Also we will be including a Nice Preset Bank with UBK purchases, mostly designed by Gregjazz the creator of UBK, so there will be Top sounding and Ready to record Patches Fast and Ready.

Anyways
I just published this, though it is hidden except from this link at the moment
It has full details and the Full Soundset listing of ManyGuitar.
(Sneak Peek)

I think the added new sounds and UBK Shine in ManyGuitar myself ... especially with Greg on the presets ;-)

Also you mention about having a real guitarist record ... well of course but the simplicity and excellent sound of our Guitars also give you a Quick creative tool to compose with etc. Let alone you may not need to replace them after all ;-) heh ... see the demo tracks on the page linked above... A couple you would never be able to tell it was a Virtual instrument on guitar.

Hi Max

Originally announced approximately 300 meg or so.
Turned out to be about 650 meg in the end.

Besides a bunch of New sets from me (All the Telecaster and 12 string new suff and the new BassComp) There is also a few new cool sets of Guitars and NEW Basses from Gregjazz the creator of our Ultimate Bass Kit - UBK. And they are very cool too.

That might help explain why we are about 3 weeks late perhaps ;-)

It is a Huge Bang for the Buck Sample Collection with a VSTi to boot!

$49.99 Limited time for the Crossgrade for our ManyStation Customers and $89.99 for all 1.2 gig of content for new users.

Pretty much less than the price of an average Sample CD .... Let alone this is all 24 bit High Quality stuff!

It should pretty much be a no brainer for all our existing customers and we wanted it to be a Bang for All ... so it will be!

You guys who already Know and Love our Samples will be amazed at this for the price!

The Standalone amp sim ...
You mean MiniAmp Sim ;-)
It's just a Bonus FX ...Nothing too Major ...but still cool!
for those that missed it ...here is the thread

I'm bustin some UBK (Epic Bass solo preset) right now thru a little camelphat and camelspace on a jungle drum track...I can't sit still long enough to write a chorus!! that shit sounds excellent!!

Love the ManyStation!

Riley :band2:

and the Camel Crew too, of course.

Here's what had me stuck. GuitarStation presets did a solo starting at about 3 minutes. I was in the bathroom and missed the whole thing, my strat is ruined. Paul, you owe me a Mexican Strat.

It's called Gibberish.

riley

That track is Friggin Awesome Dope!

I really like this stuff....
If you can create that while you go to the biffy then I suggest you spend more time on the old Crapper then.
I'll get you a Telecaster with ManyGuitar but no Mexican Strats here. ;-)

So is that UBK on Bass and ManyStation on Guitar then??

Absolutely great ...Take a listen if you did not guys to the link riley posted above!

Thanks! The bass is UBK Epic Solo preset. I did the guitar solo on my Mexican Strat going thru a Art preamp then Amplitube 1.
I need a wireless system to do it from the water closet.

Riley :hihi:

Okay now i get it ;-)

Had another listen.
I love it ...mental yet fluent.

Does that make sense? Love the Title too!
Good one. I need to update our ManyStation Radio Thread soon, When i do finally get to it, please remind me about this!

As I understand it, the Manyguitar VST is in Dash format. So if you are a Wusikstation user, and you ordered the UBK to use in Wusik, it wouldn't work in Manyguitar, although it would work in Manystation, which uses Wusiksnd format.

Is that correct?

I don't quite get why Manyguitar is in Dash format. I am really getting into Wusikstation, and I don't want to buy soundsets that won't work in that format.

Thanks,

John

Post

What are you talking about ;-)

ManyGuitar uses Wusiksnd format.
All the sets that come with it are Wusiksnds.

We had Dash Custom code from their product.
But it is coded to work with all the sets we have as we were already wusiksnd based.
Even the new Sample material in ManyGuitar is all WusikSnd so it will load into WusikStation too! Not only that it will install right in the same folders so Wusik or ManyStation will see and read it instantly. Also doing this allows ManyGuitar to see all the other Wusik sets installed on your system. The neat thing is that all the ManyGuitar stuff shows up top in the soundset list and then all your other wusik sets will be below ready to load into ManyGuitar if you wish to treat them that way. This will allow any of your Wusik sets to be Amped and ran thru our FX etc. Nice? :-) I sure think so ;-)

But ManyGuitar will also load Dashsnd :-)
And of course our Ultimate bass kit that you mentioned above, will also load right in and we will have a Bank of Presets for it for free to regged users of UBK.
Best of All worlds here!!

It is far from the original Eve though
Aldo put months of extra coding work into the specifics we wanted for ManyGuitar. Even little things like Faster pitch bend response so hammer-ons programmed via pitch bend worked better etc for guitars. Let alone the major custom amp and speaker section built just for this and tuned for our Guitars :-)

This is a cool machine all round.

I'm not sure what format MG comes in (I'm guessing Wusik since the new Dash Engine reads both, and that keeps compatibility with Manystation), but did you know how easy it is to convert between the two? Wusikstation comes with a utility to convert from dashsnd > wusik, and there is also a free converter available to convert wusik > dashsnd. Its dead simple.

Post

Or as i said ... We looked after that, No need to convert at all ;-)
(I see we posted same time floyd) ;-)

Ok, I get it.

Now I've just got to decide between all of these wonderful opportunities.

Thanks,
