Hi Guys

Well we have 1 more surprise to announce before we release ManyGuitar.

I present to you the first look at:

Manytone Mapper

Image

Free to all our ManyGuitar and ManyStation Customers!

Edit: Also our UBK (Ultimate Bass Kit) WusikSnd format customers can have this with their purchase - Which is a nice bonus for you if you baught ubk for wusikstation.

This was built by Greg Schlaepfer (Gregjazz), the creator of our Ultimate Bass Kit.

It is the first graphical Wusiksnd mapper to save your map files, so you can create your own Samplesets for ManyGuitar, ManyStation, (also WusikStation), the nice thing being that you can save the Mapping file and re-open it later for adjustment should your sampleset need it.

This will not open existing or saved Soundsets though. It only creates New Soundsets for you and saves the map files for recalling if needed.
(This has come in VERY Handy for us here at Manytone.)
EDIT NOV 23 - This will now open existing soundsets allowing you to remap Wusik files as well as build new ones!!! Also it can now open and save DashSND format too.

This will come with your Manytone Instrument Purchase. Also all our current ManyStation customers will be able to download it as soon as we finish the last bits.

:-)
Paul

EDIT: (i see you edited your post Bassballjg... but you had asked how this was different from the jtx000 one, hence my reply below )
END EDIT.

I Said:
QUOTE:
It is the first graphical Wusiksnd mapper to "SAVE" your map files. END QUOTE

The jtxx000 one never saved the mapping so if you made your sampleset and closed the editor, you could not go back and change it ... so on big sets it would take forever to remap from scratch if say you wanted a slight change to just a velocity layer.
This saves maps for future re-editing. They open as you mapped the set, and then you just slightly adjust and re-output the wusiksnd file.
For guys like you, this should be a bit helpful i would think.

Make sense now?

I get it now. Sorry. Previous statement withdrawn, deleted and categorically renounced, with all due apologies.

Fantastic tool indeed! I have been using the tool that somebody made in JUICE (was that Jzero who made that thing???) and loving it...this one looks like another handy thing to have around. thanx paul and greg!

peace!

Hey Bassballjg
No problem .. no apology is needed at all!
You just asked what was different than the other mapper. Perhaps my "QUOTE" thing looked like i was shouting ...hehe ;-)

ToTc - i think you mean this jtx000 mapper perhaps that we talk of above?

Also .. We decided we are going to give this away to any Manytone Customer that wants it ... That means all you WusikStation users who baught Ultimate Bass Kit or are going to buy it.... you will also get this with your purchase for mapping your own Wusik files.
I'll announce when it is available. Should be only a few days off.

Sound good?

Hi Paul, thanks for the new tool ,very handy! This looks cool but why can't you open existing soundsets ? is it a technical impossibility or something else?

It's not that it's impossible, it's that I would need some way of converting the WusikSND file back to WAV files. ManyTone Mapper is based on the existing Wusik Converter which only converts 1 way.

That is a good idea, though. I'll put thought into it and see if I can add that feature for a later version. It'll take some work. :)

wow, thanks for the quick response guys :)

cool, looks like it works the same way as the Orion Program Editor, look fwd to trying it.

Post

nice. i was looking for something similar...but already bought aWave ;-) but i will give it a try...

Post

should work for EVE too, right Paul?
since once you saved the wusikSND you can easily convert it to DASHsnd
