Im pretty certain that this piece of crap is scaring the hell out of the worst song ever if it is not actually the worst song ever.

I so liked their 1st album too. The second was ok, and then they started dropping turds.

Never heard the 2nd album though.
"My Humps" must be a contender for the most irritating 'song' of recent times.
Going for the kindergarten market, I reckon.
Or is that insulting to kindergarten kids?

Man does my heart go out to you.smart wrote:I don't really think it's supposed to be a musical work of art or anything - it's supposed to be a cheesy fun song for girls to dance to.
My girlfriend and all her friends love it
The worst my wife makes me put up with is Dave Matthews.

I agree that this appears to be the purpose of this song. I don't care too much for it myself but it does seem to serve it's intended purpose.smart wrote:I don't really think it's supposed to be a musical work of art or anything - it's supposed to be a cheesy fun song for girls to dance to.

I quite liked the black eyed peas first LP also, the 2nd wasn't too bad - shame what came afterwards, I mean props to them they're selling plenty of copies now, but they seem to have had to really lower the bar to do it.
They were always fairly lighthearted party-ish hip hop anyway but since they got the yowler on board the worst they get (my opinion only) the better they seem to do.
Strange?

I like the song actually.
It kind of sets the record straight for the way women have been behaving in the past 10 years or so
No really, the percussions on the song are well thought out so are other aspects too..

I have heard the whole song 'cause i change the channel when it plays.
But i thought to myself, BEP is a band to trust 'cause when you think it can't be any crappier they outdo themselves onces again.
On the otherhand, hollowbackgirl with Gwen Stefani is amongst the most womiyniginducing tunes in a long time.
