wow, didn't even notice the freebies on first glance. Looks to be over 100mb of free rex2!

Post

how do u utilize the Rex2 files? is there a way to extract the wav files?
www.warbeats.com the hottest free video tutorials!!!!

Not possible. The options I'm aware of:
1. Reason Dr. Rex
2. Stylus RMX
3. Concretefx Dicer (or was it Microdicer?)

maybe a few more too? Not sure.

Post

there is a refill extractor out there...its called refillviewer and it works.

yes but thats for getting .rx2 files and the like out of refills (.rfl). I don't think it can extract wavs from .rx2 but maybe I'm mistaken?

Of course you can also do it in ReCycle itself, which also is the only app that allows you to make your own new REX2 files as well as to export as wav, aif, akp and other formats.

How can I use the downloaded Demo Refills, Rex files and Sounds from your site within my music?

You can ONLY test and try the loops and sounds within your music composition, but you can NOT release such compositions commercially without buying a full license product. Also you can NOT use the sounds in isolation - for instance you can not use the sounds to make another sample library, or within a multimedia application.
Just so you know...

Of course, if the sounds are good enough to make something you're proud of releasing then it's worth paying for.

wooo big 40MB downloads .... what are they like ?

Post

...mainly drumsounds - the single sounds (BD, Snare, HH, Perc) are devided into seperate tracks and they are 24bit - that's why it's so big...

Post

...but the sound... :D
