Does anybody know the HQ contrabass sample library (preferably AKAI)?? In the traditions of jazz/bebop/swing (I mean, wild slaps & pops, not orchestral tremolos or pizzicatos). I really need to find it.

The Bass from www.bardstownaudio.com ? Not available for Akai AFAIK but for a bunch of other formats.

I've listened some demos, and I don't like the sampling quality.. but now I know that contrabass is called also "upright bass" %)) Yes, it is an issue of my imperfect English %)) I've found some libraries to compare Bardstown's The Bass with. Thanks a lot.

If you don't want something expensive, check out Sonic Implant's acoustic bass.

Jazz/bebop-styled contrabass samples??
