Hi there,

I'm glad to inform you that Virtual MIDI sliders v1.0.0 (freeware) has been released. Virtual MIDI Sliders is a MIDI mixer/controller (for Windows) that can be configured freely and can also act as a translation layer for a hardware controller box. You can download it from http://www.granucon.com If you make profiles (for your softsynths or hardware synths) that are useful for other people please send these profiles to me so I can put them on my website. Have a lot of fun with this freeware music program :)

Best regards,
Wouter van Beek

Wouter,

Thank you for this.

It's exactly what I was looking for! (Seriously, I asked here about a week ago for exactly this function, and it was suggested that I buy a hardware knob box. Man, am I glad I held off doing that!).

Your generosity is very much appreciated.

Regards,
JD

wow this looks interesting...like the FL dashboard, but for other apps too...:)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Thanks, wouter - this looks quite handy.

Is this limited to handling CC messages only? I've been on the lookout for any kind of app (stand-alone or VST) which will generate pitch bend data. Anybody know of any? There seems to be nothing out there that does this. Ideally, the gui would have a virtual pitch bend wheel that snaps to zero when released.

Cheers!
