I see lots of freebie Compressors, but i cant find an usable expander (low latency, good resolution)...

any suggestions ?

Digitalfishphones Floorfish is a useful expander/gate...frequency conscious and adjustable transiton curve as well.

I'd vouch for the Floorfish,very good,indeed.
Also,Gvst makes a pretty good (and very simple) gate:

And,Slim Slow Slider makes a couple of good expanders,AutoGate and Sidechain Gate

both are very good options. floorfish is a little more crunchy.
