All these silly "genres" that mean so little
Is "Jaath" for real?

I just saw a poster for some bands and amongst the styles it mentioned was "Jaath". So is this a real "genre"? - I always thought it was a joke name; a parody of some sort of pseudo jazz perhaps (but then I thought "crunk" was a joke name as well).

So it was made in KVR? - thought so. Someone must have thought it sounded worth using.

I think some origins can be traced to "The Fast Show", which has a sketch parodying latenite jazz shows (and did it perfectly...)
Donk's just took it to the edge.
Googling "Jaath" brings up quite a number of hits, however "Jaaath" returns mainly KVR hits, and one for Chordspace! I notice that they suggest a search 'baath'.. Nothing I like better than a nice hot bazz...
aMUSEd, you could just go in and ask at the shop
