no sound from the MIDI keyboard when I use Emulator X

Hi all;
Yup I'm a newbe (sucks).
MY wife and kids are pissed as well because I can't figure out how to get the full 88 keys of the Keystation Pro 88 working. I am using Traction2 as my host and Ihave Atura CS-80 synth plugin as well as the otherincluded stuff from E-mu and Traction.

Also, I'm not getting ANY sound when I use Emulator X from within Traction.

One thing to try. Maybe the samples for the presets you're playing isn't mapped over all the 88 keys. If you try loading the "Studio grand" bank and choose the "Studio Grand" preset that ought to be mapped over all - or at least most keys.

Just getting into the Emulator X myself, since a few weeks...


No idea about your other problem, I use Sonar myself.

and getting the newest application upgrade and drivers. I remember something about the newest updates fix the traction problem.
