Just watched a documentary bout her new album and tour .... seems that she is making up for her vocal failings by using autotune on, basically, everything! Aside from the fact that this dates her music completely - and sounds shocking in the process - I cant help but wonder if her album is actually sponsored by Antares?? If not, it damn well should be. Yeeeee-Uch.

Thing is, with this sort of act does it matter that she is using Auto Tune whilst running/dancing around the stage not just singing the songs. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Madonna fan - dislike all the stuff she does intensely but for the sort of people going to see the Madonna 'show' I would have thought the'd have auto tuned vocals over out of tune vocals.

Missed point. Indeed, most pop stars these days use a touch of autotune. The point is that Madonna is overusing the effect on the album, ala 'the cher sound'. I assumed that everyone had passed that stage but, no

Which begs the question, what did these people do before pitch correction software, I mean the early Madonna albums what would she have done then 'cause they seemed to be in tune (to my ear at least).
