Anybody can say how they wish things were.
This spokesman is the furthest thing from a lawmaker. There's a good stretch between "saying how you wish things would be" and "getting laws passed."

Keiser isn't even to the first steps of getting his law passed. Does he so much as have a congressman willing to introduce a bill?

More down to earth, require the artist to appear and testify in any proceeding that respects his copyrights. Limit the authority of the agent to speak on the artist's behalf.

Most of the artists involved here, surely have no idea what's being done in their name.
