I'm not much of a fan about broadcast wavs so...
will rendering to .aiff then just for the hell of it convert back to .wav clear these dates, timestamps and tags from the file?
(Not a musical question I know... more of an OCD one lol)
broadcast wavs :|

I'm confused about why you would bother. It can only be useful information and only takes up a couple K.
If you render a track with any variation (ie. free-running oscillators
[inside joke]) you can get variations in size of several hundred kilobytes. Compared to the what... 10kb of BWAV information, it can't be a space issue. I could take all the Broadcast information from all my .wav files and mash them together and they still wouldn't be as large as a medium-sized Word document.
They don't store private information....
You don't HAVE to use that information if you don't want to....
So what gives?
If there's a truly dire reason you need to, or if you're just an obsessive-compulsive person and MUST do it for reasons that defy logic, surely there are batch tag info programs that will allow you to do this much more quickly and efficiently than converting to .aiff and back...

Nah it's not a size issue at all really... I just like having sounds in a folder as is... Like a finished sample cd or collection of sounds to use, nothing more, no info. :S
Anyways... I got it sorted out! Thanks, I think I was on a mad one last night for posting that lol
