Software tuner (SITAR)

Hi everybody,

I need to know if there's any software tuner able to help me tuning my sitar, the sitar have 7 main strings and 13 sympathetic strings and there are a lot of combinations for the sympathetic strings depending on the raga that you're playing. All the ones that I've seen in the web are only guitar or bass guitar tuners and I guess that it should be some software tuner for other instruments like Sitar. Can someone help me?

as long as the tuner is chromatic I don't see a problem, unless you need to tune 1/4 steps....then you night have to do a little math...try c-tuner...

Hi - I'm Sitar player, too - nice to find a fellow meender - I use Gtune or any VSTi for reference - tune second/jod string to C# - but then I use that as reference and tune the sitar in itself, as it sounds best in pure/untempered tuning. btw another tip: dont let the mizrab lie on the keyboard when you close your laptop:-)
