I want to grab some audio from a DVD. Is there a tool for this?
I'm on a laptop with a sigmatel audio card.
I'll try to select record setero mix on the card's mixer and feed that into energy XT.
What I'm really looking for is a way to scub and extract without realtime sampling.

Easiest way (IMHO) is to rip the DVD audio with something like DVD Decrypter. There are loads of alternatives, of course.

You should be able to find what you need -
of course, a much, much easier option is to either use internal soundcard looping to record it, or set up an external loop, while playing.
