I have been trying to make music with Reason rewired to Cubase SX.
But do you play midi files in Cubase which trigger the Reason drums and synths or do you keep those midi tracks in Reason trigger the Reason synths?
I actually find a big pain the the *** to rewrite all those drum tracks in Cubase, but I just can't get used to the Reason sequencer screen.
What's the best way to do this?
Question for Reason rewired to Cubase users!

When I make a complex arrangement in Reason, I never rewrite anything in Cubase after rewireing, but I do a lot of automatation for the final mix. The Reason-sequencer is a mess, I know. You can export midi-data from reason, import it into Cubase, refine it and use a rewire channel for playback.djones wrote:I have been trying to make music with Reason rewired to Cubase SX.

When I tried to import the exported midi files, Cubase would open an entire new project.
I somehow couldn't just import one midi file and drag it over to a rewire channel.
