Ok, this question isnt as general as it sounds. Ive been producing for a while, but Im looking to grab some more fx, maybe something swirling that could be used in transition between two parts, or something like that. I know De-Phazz uses alot of really good ones, and alot of the chillout music today incorporates all kinds of fx. Is there a great program or samples I should look into? What about free stuff online? Keep the music in the flow my brothers

Instead of samples, I am recommending Morpheus, Cygnus, and Crystal to you :D

i second The Chase's recommendations. those 3 are some very capable and flexible synths.

To me it's not even worth it, tweaking a synth to get the FX I want.
You end up tweaking, tweaking and tweaking and you end up not even having the right sounds you want.
