Control+click to sound channels in FL; small bug (feature)?

This isn't actually new in FL6, but the fact that it remained makes me wonder if this is intentional. Currently, if you control + left click on a channel, you hear middle C. However, once you let go of the mouse, the sound continues for an irritating length of time and you have to control+H to stop the sound. If I remember correctly it did not behave like this in FL4.
