Someone has any emotions on this?
I call it deep mood-music (dark - psychedelic - narrative)
Think it's already ok without vocals, though (female) vocals will probably follow..

ooh this is nice, you ever hear cinematic orchestra?
it has that kinda vibe. while i do like the lack of vocals personally,it will be interesting to hear what happens with a vocalist :)
something like beth gibbons voice would work well i think :)
some really nice sounds and a great mix so far tho. nice work indeed.

think of it less as a philosophical viewpoint and more the line of a murderous villain who has invited an unknowing soul to his castle...
"hey man,wheres the party?"...

Hi thomekk
Great track, I like this one.
Nice guitars with growing effects (backwards?), good intro.
The evolution of the 2nd part is astounding, because with the same rhythm and harmony it sounds a little different from the beginning
well done 8)
Cheers

Hi vurt!
Thanks lots for your nice reply :D
Glad this one was for your taste!
And no I don't know the cinematic orchestra (but I guess it's one guy?), have to check this out!
Good one with the Beth Gibbons-idea, guess my singer will do something in this direction (still don't know), will repost when it's happened.

Thanks, cudos again

Hi Laguna,

thx for the listen and the nice review! :D
One guitar in the mid-section went for a short time through the camel space(-demo) plugin I think that's what you meant with the backwards-fx?!
For the rest I just changed a bit harmonically, a great help for this tune was the cygnus-synth by Ian Webster and Tim Conrardy. Besides Big Tick's Rhino for the lead synth. Plus: LazySnake-Piano by Andreas Ersson. :)

no not one guy,its sort of really contrived(at least the first album) a 3/4 piece jazz combo, record them playing live onto an 8 track...
repeat add in finitum...
one guy then takes all the tracks apart note by note and creates the "perfect take" but manages to retain a lot of the essential liveness of the act too,it was a little of this kinda feel that made the connection with your track but also the dark forbodingness of the track.
is forbodingness a word?if not im copyrighting it!
but yeah damn good track, revisited a few times on the playlist today.

So he's doing sort of hiquality cut up
Anyway, sounds interesting.
Did lookup forbodingness in LEO, Online Dictionary, it's not there. You have invented it :o
Thx again and it's nice that this piece is allowed to coexist peaceful among others in your playlist :hail:

Wow! This track sure does take me places. Very surprising and loads of different sceneries all in one. I might even suggest kvr-member breathehope for this; she has a slight bjorkish sound that would work here too.

Much enjoyed listen :)

great movement throughout thomekk,
inspiring piece for sure, never a dull moment, especially like the guitar, it works in there so well
