Hi
I wish to sell SampleTank 1XL and 2XL …….2XLhas never been installed or registered, it is an upgrade from ST 1XL.
I also have Sonik Synth 1 that I no longer use, how would I go about selling these so that the new owner can register them with no problems.
Also what would be a fair price for them all in UK pounds.
Thanks.
Selling

We can't discuss it in detail here. (this is not an IK forum) But, you can contact IK about your SampleTank 2XL. Actually, if it has never been registered then you can just sell it and the person doesn't have to pay the fee to transfer registration I don't believe.
As for Sonic Synth 1, there is no legal transfer of the license to use the sounds (which is the main part of the product). So, whoever bought it from you would not be properly licensed to use them or registered. The only thing they could transfer is the SampleTank LE that came with it. The sounds are licensed to the original purchaser only. This comes up a lot, and some people are surprised. But, this is a standard license agreement that most professional sound developers use. I am not saying people don't abuse it. They do unfortunately. So, I guess its up to you.
I hope you at least got some good use out of Sonic Synth 1 and got out of it what you bought it for. Software, and particularly soundware or sample libraries are good investments only if you plan to use them. They are lousy for resale. I wouldn't have high expectations in that area for ANY software or sound product. Hardware is another story. Although good hardware can cost you thousands and depreciate heavily too so... the only good investment is vintage gear for resale I think.
Good luck.
