Need help with cubase sx...

I've been using traktion2 for a while but for some reason whenever I record a guitar track, after i record it, its completly out of sync.

Anyway I decided to try cubase sx. heres the trouble...

I can play vstis fine in traktion, but in cubase I get that clicking noise, like I'm using too much prossesing power, but the prossesor meter say I'm barely using any. I cant seem to find anything in the cubase menu to adjust latency or number of samples.

you don't mention which version of SX,
but in SX2 try
devices>devicesetup>vst multitrack

probably the same in SX3, you should find some options there.
