Hi, mates. After christmas it's time to spend some money. Can you recommend me the best flangers you know?

Hi fellow!

I've tryed many flangers which didn't exactly correspond to my requirements and expectations (there were some nice plugs' though)... Do anyone know some plugin which could be used to imitate Steve Vai's - Glorious intro part! Amazing flanger!

Kjaerhus Golden Modulator (GMO-1?) and the Voxengo Vintage Modulator?

I think I recall Kjaerhus and Voxengo offering free plugs that might include a flanger.

If you ever need a phaser...you might try Mobilohm by Ohmforce.

I didn't like the classic flanger the last time i tried it out. But i'll check again

I don't really have much of an opinion to give on the flanger, since I'm much more a chorus and phaser person

... and both those (from Kjaerhus) are top notch!

I'd agree with the company, but not with your choice of plugin. I like this better for flanging

Flanger... good, not expensive, long legs etc
