The closest thing would be maybe The Palette:
http://www.palette-mct.com/index.html
but it is far worse laid out imho and also isn't a VST though arguably it has more features.

Something a little more straight forward, maybe?

The Secondary Dominants are all in there (see this page of theory). As are the Substitute Dominants and a whole raft of Modal Interchange chords.eddu wrote:I mean i cannot see graphic relationships like second dominants or some kind of rule of fifhts integrated within chordspace´s interface. That was what i meant.
I'm not sure what you mean by the rule of fifths.

Try to layout such a thing. A truly draft layout would do.eddu wrote:I mean i cannot see graphic relationships like second dominants or some kind of rule of fifhts integrated within chordspace´s interface. That was what i meant.
I'm sure you'll run into serious problems regarding space and logical placement of things.
I've been trying to help out nuffink a little bit, and I think I made some similar statements, only to realize that space (and logic layout therefor) is a serious issue.
You just can't fit all possible harmonical relationships, probably with all (or even just some) temporary modulations (which, for instance, secondary dominants are), into a reasonably sized VST GUI. Not even just the most plausible ones.
But then, if you are aware of all those allready, I'm sure it's not all that much of a tough job to figure out their fingerings on a keyboard and actually record them.

Ok they are there, sorry.
But they are not just above the chord they are second dominant of..or maybe if they were from the same colour...dont know...
Mmmm...was it circle of fifhts instead of rule? In spanish its circulo (circle) of fifhts.
Thanks.

Another thing, and maybe this is more important for me, nuffink:
could we have a MIDI learn, instead of having to type he hexa value of the chord? That would be really helpfull.
Dont get me wrong, Chordspace its awesome and i really apreciate your effort.

ChordSpace is laid out so that the natural progression is from one cluster to the next in clockwise order.eddu wrote:Ok they are there, sorry.

All of the chords are placed so that this is true. This doesn't mean you are forced to use it this way.
The Key Changer in the middle is layed out in a circle of fifths.eddu wrote: Mmmm...was it circle of fifhts instead of rule? In spanish its circulo (circle) of fifhts.

Hmmm... Chordspace is pretty unique. I've never seen anything that even comes close. Perhaps it's UI is somewhat unconventional, but it's relatively easy to understand and it's application makes for some amazing experimental music-scapes.

I agree. Unfortunately, SynthEdit only allows midi learn on note numbers which would limit the maximum number of chords to 128 (theoretically, less in practice). ChordSpace has 226 unique chords per key.eddu wrote:could we have a MIDI learn, instead of having to type he hexa value of the chord? That would be really helpfull.
Version 2 will have midi learn, I promise.
