Controlling and sending program changes to Absynth running on Receptor from a MIDI controller has a number of bugs that reportedly were fixed from the last Native Instruments update (3.0.2) that has not been incorporated yet from Muse. This update has been out for quite a while and is needed.
Here is my running emails with NI support after I reported the problem sending program changes and MIDI CC 14:

NI: at first you should install the latest Absynth 3 update which is 3.02! You can download it from our website.
To change programs/patches via MIDI within Absynth you need to enable this function in the options menu \"enable Program Changes\"! [Ned - This option menu doesn't work from the Receptor UI].
Ned: I wrote back that the update was not available on Receptor.
NI: please get in touch with the Receptor support. They should be able to help you with this issue.
We do not support Receptor in general.

I've had a ticket (#155) open since Oct. asking for this. My last response in November was that they were prioritizing Uniwire first then reviewing plugins that needed updates. Since Uniwire isn't now due to be delivered until 1.5, it would be nice if they would update some of the plugins that need it sooner. In addition to improved midi controller handling there are other fixes with the envelope page and hanging notes which are of value.
Maybe open a ticket as well to show more than one user is affected by this?
