Actually if that was ONLY the M51 (In however many tracks) it is most impressive.
It gives a good range for us to see what the synth is capable of.
Love it. I am impressed..oops I drooled on my shirt...

I love the sound. It is very lush. And the presets you've used are impressive. They all sound very organic. Perhaps you could explain briefly how the demo was made and what you did to achieve these results. I'm eagerly anticipating this synth based on this demo.

well...I used EnergyXT to begin with. I used the audio capture and went thru a lot of my presets I created and did performances of them..all in the same key of course. This allowed me to have quite a variety of sounds from M51 all at my disposal.
Then booted up Tracktion and assembled/arranged the wave files ala EJAY style. I actually find this way of working very intuitive and easy as well. Then I added a "live" bass line all the way thru it.No effects were used...just the mackie mix plugin to even it out. For some reason, I just LOVED that white noise percussion and used it to end the piece as well.( which BTW was a one noter RYM patch! )
You can imagine swirling galaxies!!

TC - the demo sounds great. I like the fact that the M51 sounds similar enough to the M42 to make a good partner but at the same time sounds different enough to really extend the M42-type sounds. I'm delighted, and I 'll be very grumpy until I get to buy it!
My only comment about the demo that could be a little different is that the demo featured a lot of the Totem sounds, which interests me, but might not be so interesting for others. The M42 does great pads and leads (among other things) and I just know the M51 will be great at those things too.

yeah..your right...we need another demo what shows other qualities..I am sure it would be good for trance with its edgier sound set.

How much are we talking here? Is m51 going to be under $50, over $100? Is it so different from m42 that it's worth buying, or is it a little bit different, so people who don't own the m42 will mostly benefit. Gotta see how I am going to spread my dollars - as I've done most the buying I want to do for a while. I still want to buy your sf2 for m42 still - anything to get more sounds and presets for the m42 Nebula - my favorite lead, arp and ambient synth!!!
I bought the julia sound font and presets for m42 (zuon I believe?) - man that kicks butt!!! Makes all the other presets sound cool as crap too - great for scary movies or weird events!

well...it will below 100 but more then 50..hows that? Its due to the custom modules and lots of extra work on this baby.( and we have another member on board ..David H, doing custom modules for us) so..thats why...but it will be a package deal.. ok - great - two for the price of one. But how DIFFERENT will it sound/act/be from the m42? Oh, and not to be stupid, but define a PD and a VA for us idiots.
