im new to all of this, and was wondering if someone here could help. i just bought the fxpansion vst to rtas adapter so that i could use my bbe sonic maximizer. i dont know how to get fxpansion to convert bbe, or if it is how do i get pro tools to recognize it?? any help will be greatly be appriciated!!

You might want to post asking for help there.
If you have the BBE version that's a DXi, rather than a VST, the adapter won't help you....

If you bought it recently,it's both VST and DX,when you installed it it usually asks you which format you want to install and if you choose VST it should also ask you where your VST folder is.I'd suggest uninstalling it,and reinstalling it and pay attention.

well that didnt work either... it never asked me where my vst folder was.. any other suggestions? can i just drag the files to the vst folder? or the entire bbe folder to the vst folder?
