Much like the way vacuous, pompous aresholes are allowed to write self publicising blogs to allow other self publicising, pompous, vacuous areseholes to masturbate over their latest "sarcastic & witty" post.analogindustries wrote:but the thought of the KvR community writing a Wiki is like the kids from Lord Of The Flies being put in charge of the Encyclopedia Brittanica.

I would tell analogindustries where to shove it, but I took a quick glance at the Wiki, and all three of the entries I scanned through had glaring technical inaccuracies. Hopefully, these will all get edited, but not by me!

Perhaps he was denied membership into the KVRwiki Editors Group?

Perhaps. Or perhaps he's too lazy. Whatever the cause, its still not actually a constructive comment.soulkraka wrote: Perhaps he was denied membership into the KVRwiki Editors Group?
For it to have been constructive, he might have listed the pages and described the technical errors he found, for example.

You're absolutely right. I was simply being grouchy and irritable because I don't have time to edit the Wiki, let alone make any actual music anymore. Seems like all I have time for is sitting in traffic, work, more traffic, being daddy, and then off to bed. I just bought a bunch of modules for my Doepfer system, and I haven't even had time to test them all. Sometimes I really wonder why I bother...whyterabbyt wrote:Perhaps. Or perhaps he's too lazy. I've promptly forgotten what two of the entries were, but one was in Modular Synthesis. The definition of VCF is backwards. Also, I'm not sure that describing a VCO as something which "will play a note in a simple waveform" is the best definition. Lastly, I think categorizing the Nord Modular G2 as a "Hardware Modular Synth" is a bit of a stretch...
