FYI: a swinette is a single gut string, strung across a pig's arse and plucked with your teeth.

One might certainly setup the length, size, and texture of the string. Of course, the pig's parameters would, of course, be the most curious detail(s).

I can imagine lots of ILM style motion capture type stuff done with a suitably talented pig, in order to model the pig parameters in an accurate and life like way. Although hardcore advocates of the real over the virtual would probably still favour the second hand swinnete bought on Ebay, from an authentic Appalachian mountain man, in exchange for some string.
