cool learning set-up

I have a digital receiver with many digital ins (one coax 4 opt) and it has one optical output...I never used the output though...until today...because of this cool switch box I bought for routing 3 optical signals to one I can select whether I want the digital input on my souncard to come from my akai dps12 (which I really use as a digital mixer) or from my stereo system.

So with AA1.5 I can monitor the digital signal when listening to cds, and monitor it thru the analysers...in real time...so now my stereo has reatime spectrum and phase analysis...I'm not sure why I never thought of this before...but it's quite interesting...
