Ok. I have searched the adobe forums, and found nothing on this so...
I see there is a way to spectrally edit files in adobe audition with the marquee tool in spectral edit view.
but is there a way to SOLO just the selected portion and listen to it, to identify the sound your looking for?
How do users use in their workflow?

Make your selection, then right click and select 'copy to new', play the new file, then delete.Jason Brian Merrill wrote:but is there a way to SOLO just the selected portion and listen to it, to identify the sound your looking for?
