Scripts and batching in Adobe Audition 2???

This might be a tad redundant but I've yet to hear anything about scripting and or batching updates in Adobe Audition 2.

I hated the fact that I could not write scripts to control the cueing functions in AA. Plus there were a couple of other built in functions that were inoperable. I think the scripting was brought over from the Cool Edit era as most of my old scripts work with AA 1.5.. Will they be revamping this or sticking to the previous schema?

If anyone has info on this can you let me know plz...
