a great tool, I just have problems finding out how to control the velocity of the frozen vsti - I´m trying to freeze a VSTi with a bass - on highest velocity it´s a slap sound but I want Highlife to freeze with less velocity to grab the regular bass sound.

Just try to create multiple layers and once layered, erase unneeded ones or just export and reimport only the ones you need.

Arguru passed away a long time ago, just in june 2007, that's part of the reason.
