wich distortionvst sounds like the one in rebirth?

i really love what the distortion in rebirth does to an 808 kick. unfortionately i still havn't found a vst-plug that sounds the same (or as close as possible) - can you help me out?

What kind of distortion effect is it in Rebirth? Is it multiband, is it a clipper, a flexible waveshaper, does it have overdrive, etc.
I haven't tried Rebirth in well over five years, so you'll have to refresh my memory.

Those are in Reason though, not Rebirth... I thought the one in Rebirth was just a hard clipper... so maybe G-Clip would work..?

It could be a foldback distortion. I don't actually own either Rebirth or Reason, so am not super familiar with either.
I can't think of any existing foldback distortion plug ins though.. I know there is an SE module that will allow you to invert or rectify a signal at any threshold...
