I'll be going to NAMM this weekend. (Lucky me, I live about 20 minutes from the convention center.) Does anyone have any requests they'd like me to fulfill, as things they'd like me check up on, reports they'd like me to make, etc.? I doubt there's anything I'll be able to see that won't be published in a magazine somewhere, but just in case...

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Go to the Line 6 booth and hold someone hostage at knife point until the give you a firm release date on the Vetta 3 update.
Excuse all the blood.

ask the Emu people what "improvements" are going to be made to Emulator X...they only released info on new stuff, not what's going to be fixed...namely key mapping, preset/library functions (lots of stuff has room for improvement)...just see if they will spill the beans on what the "over 30 improvements" are...(like where to find 'em on the interweb at least) tell them a lot of purchases are hinging on this info, trust in the company, etc...stare them down with a stern look as if it's true...
actually, the new usb interface for the EmuX is a good idea....laptop anyone?

Ooh, MackTuesday, very cool that you are going!
I would love to hear news of how the great Continuum Fingerboard is faring and if there are any secret plans for taking the concept further with other products. Please say hi to Dr Lippold Haken, he should be attending hopefully according to the show directory:
Company: Haken Audio
Booth: 1000
Location: Hall E
Many thanks
