heard something through the grapevine that the new waves SSL emu is just Q-clone with SSL samples and a fancy GUI..

That might work with the EQ (although it'd need a serious library of samples) but it wouldn't work with the compressor.

Yeah....convlution infused with dynamics processors is a little more complicated.....at least if the user is going to be able to actually change the settings.....I'm sure there is some facet of the Q-Clone technology build into it...but I doubt it's a repackaged Q-Clone.

It still wont sound like an SSL. It will sound like an SSL being played through yer meager non SSL A/D converters.
