I remember someone saying they licenses the voice synth in fruity.

does anyone know where I can find just the voice synth.

I may have to by fruity, but I really only want the voice synth.

Thanks,

There is a free one, and even VST:
Farbrausch.

isnt the voice engine in FLS based on the old freeware shittalker app ???

... no idea if thats still available though ...

... hang on ... you can get it here (not sure whether this is still the devs site though ... looks VERY different from what i remember a few years back) ...

yes, its shit talker.

and a very apt name too...

shit talker is actualy prety capable of making some realy cool speech lines.i got a suprisingly good emulation of a monotone futurepop singer by programming it. this would be the vocals i used in all my tunes if it it only exported to wave :(

Post

ah ... forgotten that bit TBH ... i used to use total recorder to get from shittalker into .wav ...

BTW ... i now use speakonia - http://www.cfs-technologies.com/home/?id=1.4 - if i want dodgy sounding artificial speech ... its free and DOES export to .wav ...

... however it uses the 'standard' windows voices (although a dig around on the net will find you some variations) ... and it doesnt give you QUITE as much control over the voice as shittalker does ...

the problem with most of them is the license to use them in a song.

thanks krim, a few of those I hadn't run into yet.

btw,

who here has gotten shit talker to work right!! I can't figure out how to make it make a noise.
