I'm interested... But the price. :-o $900 total and Miroslav VSTI retails for $500?? IMO there should be a bundle deal for less than $500 - after all, these products don't come with a VSTI, they are just the samples.

Actually the plug-in retails for $599. But, the good news is that there IS a Miroslav Refill Gold Bundle being released this coming week. It is only $100 more than the plug-in. It has more patches and is larger in size plus there is no USB key needed. A great deal for a complete high end orchestra if you use Reason 3! Or it is also a great deal just to get the String Ensembles for under $200. They are larger than the original Miroslav String Ensembles library that was over $500. just for one CD! (These are all on DVD).

How did you guys compress all 2 DVDs worth of samples into one DVD disc for Reason? Do they use some sort of compression when turning it into a Refill? :)

P.S. I would buy this if I don't already have the Miroslav plug-in....

Ok, well I just quoted the price I saw on your site. $500. Doesn't it make sense to compare that price to the refills on your site too?

That does sound great. I like the Miroslav sounds. And not being tied to a dongle is really great. But $700 is alot - especially in the Refill market where things are generally more reasonably priced.

No, the Miroslav Refill Gold bundle is on 6 DVDs.

Miroslav Philharmonik users can get a crossgrade discount. Just email elijah@esoundz.com and he can work that out.

In terms of discussion it makes more sense to compare the MSRP list price because the other discounted prices can change day to day or depending on store discounts (for instance, when you login on www.esoundz.com depending on how much you've purchased there before you can get a better and better deal automatically often times). So, it is a hundred dollars more than the plug-in. With discounts it might even be less than a hundred more. Maybe fifty bucks or maybe close to the same. Depends on the discount.

Considering it is 6 DVDs of a high end orchestra and choir that used to cost thousands it IS reasonably priced. We have plenty of fifty dollar refills (or even $15 refills for download). But, to get a full orchestra and choir with this kind of quality and prestidge (and no other high end orchestra and choir even exists at ALL for Reason 3 AFAIK) is a rare opportunity. People on a budget can pick out just one or two if they want or get them over time. It really was designed to be inviting for the Reason user on a budget. However, the concept was also to bring all kinds of libraries over to Reason 3. Makes sense. Great orchestral sounds are needed for all types of music, not just classical.
