 this isn't a mock. it's funny and stupid but not a mock.

say you have milestone but you don't have a breath controller pedal. you can connect it to a knob but it's too hard to control expression, pitch and hit the keys at the same time. :)

here's what you do:

open an instance of the fruity formula controller and use the preset MOUSE POSITION. it will say MouseY. (meaning the mouse's up and down movements will control whatever you connect it to)

connect the breath control to the formula controller.

put your mouse on the floor (assuming you have a conventional mouse, or an optical one)

with double sided tape stick the bottom of your shoe to the mouse and move it up and down while playing. :p

i did it without the tape (used a bit of pressure and it worked)

surely not the best way to deal with things but it works.

of course, others can adapt this genius system :P if they have or find a plug that uses automation via mouse movement. :)

:dog:
that's a great idea. -I mean for an improvised work around. I just never remember to use the formula controller for anything.
..what goes around comes around..

@tuz,

very cool idea :-)

let`s make business

i could create a mouse-pedal-controller
using your inspiring idea,

how about improving this system?

take a cheap mouse,
remove the top cover
get some wood,
cut out a foot-shape
paint it, and screw that on top of the mouse,
on the surface add some sticky stuff,
so that your socks will stick on that
foot-shaped wood,
that`s it :D

OR EVEN BETTER:

just take a "disco roller"
and add the mouse...

revolution!!!

"disco-roller-breath-control"
this is ill  :hihi:
..i swear that`ll work great!

does the wood have to be exactly shaped like a foot; with toes and stuff? :p

Sorry to be dumb... I've set up the Formula Controller in channel 1 of the mixer, opened Miles Tone and selected the preset you specified. If I move the mouse up and down, the Formula Controller responds. But how do I link it to the breath control of Miles Tone?

I can see it now -- the foot glove!

you'll see a little plug shaped thing on the top left corner of the plugin's wrapper. click that. click the browse parameters option. on the left side of your screen you'll see a list. choose midi cc 2 (breath controller) right click and choose link to controller. a thing will pop up with the title remote control settings. go to internal controller and choose the option formula ctrl (insert 1)-out. that should do it. :)

Blow against velocity-sensitive keys REALLY hard.

Fabulous! - works fine. Miles Tone is really impressive and this makes it even better. Thanks for your help.[/img]
