Sawstudio- I don't get it.First the price is way out of touch with reality (1200,2500),also you have to buy a seperate plug just for midi sequencing/pianoroll for $300.And don't even get me started on the gui.
The features it has are excellent but with these other issues I can not see why anyone would purchase this program with everything else that is out there.

hi
it is targeted at pro studios; it is optimized to a level that is worlds above many other DAWs and is totally reliable.
it's main purpose is large multitrack studio recording.
Think of it in terms of the pro studio level pro tools stuff. It is just another alternative.
Personally, i use EnergyXT, and it cost me 40 bucks
I wouldn't want to go into a studio without it.
But for many situations, Saw studio is definitely the right tool.
There is a person here on KVR that uses it, and he would probably be the one to tell you why it is worth the money
If I owned a large studio, i would go for it, definitely.
cheers.
